It's working as a mouse. :) But that lets me draw in GIMP. It lets me move the cursor when hovering the pad with the stylus, click when touching the pad with the stylus, and use the stylus' button to right-click.
As I said... I don't have an application that understands pressure to try out... so not using the "pen" features of the tablet. Gilles.
