I also currently have a 330 based Intel board, but might like to upgrade to a
less powerhungry board. And I currently have the disks via USB (the disks
themselves internally are all sata!) and like to put them into the
box. Throughput will enhance, and power-loss in many external PSUs will also
drop, making it way more efficient. So, speed of the board iteslef currently
is not that important!
