Like you said, it's only an opinion. Still, if you follow the DEV releases, you can not expect this DEV to be compatible with older DEVs. The purpose of the dev repo is change. I repeat CHANGE. I do not have your issues. This weekend I installed a couple of zones on my OpenSolaris-b131 server and that went flawlessly. They work very well. So, if you keep up with the dev repo, you don't have this problem.
