Suspend didn't work... with DHCP. And without a

please try without VT-X, only with bios defaults (by
default, nothing is enabled in bios)
I installed /dev/ build 127 on my M10 and suspend/resume failed the second time I tried it. The screen went dark but it never suspend. Pressing the power button did not resume the system like normal. Holding down the power button turned it off. Since then I've gone back to build 126 since suspend/resume is stable for me with /dev build 126.

I'm using BIOS version 3.00. Virtualization extensions are disabled.

Is the 127 issue a known bug?

The virtualization issue is a known bug (CR6855502), with the workaround to disable it. This appears to be the case that it has been disabled, but please make sure the BIOS settings have all virtualization settings to "off" or "disable".

There is a second, and still of unknown origin issue w.r.t. using the controller in IDE mode (doesn't occur on all platforms, but if it does, it seems to *always* occur). Setting AHCI mode has not reproduced this issue, but would require a reinstall (the modes are not compatibile with the OS). IIRC, this wasn't your issue, as you were running AHCI. But again, make sure that this is the case.

As for 127 on the M10, the only reported issue is CR6893587, but that effects boot and not s/r. As the subject also specifies TPM, is this also being used, and how might it be configured so this could also be tested? If running TPM, does it improve without TPM?

Thanks for the explanation/info. As far as I know, I'm using all the BIOS defaults which would be AHCI and no TPM, but I'll double check before filing a new bug.

  Thanks!

I was using this bug to track issues but it was closed since 126 was stable.
