I changed to one of the 3D secreensavers as I was looking through them, and it
seems to have broken X - the X server seems to die and I get put back to the
text console but it won't accept any input. Logging in from another machine via
SSH reveals Xorg is chewing a whole CPU core of processor time, and has to be
forceable killed (kill -9). Unless I disable GDM, killing Xorg just results in
another Xorg being started and doing exactly the same thing.

I've deleted /export/home/my_username/.gconf, .gconfd, .gnome2, .gnome2_private
and when I enter the screensaver config dialog the 3D screensaver is still
selected, the preview tries to launch and promptly buggers up X. So I can't
change the screensaver selected which means I can't leave the system unattended
for more than 10 minutes. (Yes, I could delete the user, but I'd rather not do
that).

So - can someone tell me where the screensaver config is stored so I can delete
it?

Thanks

Andrew.
