Hi,

Hit $c - that will give the stack trace.

Thanks Vikram,

I`m getting this error:

Bad kernel fault at addr=0xf0
pid=0, pc=0xfe99bd01,sp=..........................................

There are a lot of codes, and than:

panic: entering debugger (no dump device, continue to reboot)

Anybody has any idea what can it be?

Thanks
TaP

Hi,

At the GRUB menu hit 'e', then highlight the kernel$ line and hit e again and
then add a -k after the "unix". Then hit enter and then hit b. Now the system
will stop after the panic and you can post the stack trace here so we can
diagnose the problem.

Subject: [indiana-discuss] Updato to snv_93

Hi guys,

I formated my laptop (Dell Latitude D610), and reinstalled OpenSolaris snv_86.
I did a pkg image-update and installed snv_94.

This new version is not working, I`m getting a error during the boot.

Is there any way to update to snv_93 instead 94?

93 I know that works fine on my laptop.

Ps.: I`m not able to get the error because I saw the output very fast and than
the laptop reboot.

Thanks

TaP
