That's fine Wayne. I believe you would want to poke around /usr/share for a firefox bookmarks.html file which copies itself when the browser is launched. I just deducted that there's a file of the like somewhere there because the .firefox directory in a user's home directory stores the bookmarks directly in a single html file. On a Linux system (x86_64) it's located at: /usr/lib64/firefox/defaults/profile/bookmarks.html so OpenSolaris should be wherever the GNOME/JDS components are, probably just /usr/lib/firefox/defaults/profile/bookmarks.html.
