Strangely enough, on my EeePC900, when I install the SUNWaudiohd drivers, I get no sound.

When I remove all Solaris audio drivers... and install OSS, it finds pci8086,2668 which it attaches to "hdaudio".

Then I get perfect sound through OSS... but not through SADA, of course, so GNOME sees no sound...

We've got bugs logged already to get wired and wifi network access.
We're looking at usb webcam support, and generally doing what we can to
bug the right people about getting better support!

Not sure about the 901, but audio on the 701 works with the latest
audiohd driver, and it also works with the OSS drivers if you want
suspend/resume support.

Setting reply-to do eeepc-discuss.

Today I got some spare time and have OS 2008.05 installed on my EeePC
900. Several key points:

(1) keyboard did not work originally, but after add the "-v" option to
the grub menu (the kernel line, not the other lines) it worked.

(2) Wireless did not work originally, but after installing the driver
from http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/ath/ it worked.

(3) Wired NIC is not working yet.

(4) Audio is not working yet.

(5) Projector works! When I connect a SONY projector to the EeePC, it
just worked. The laptop side got a trim-off screen (the lower part was
cut off), but the projector side got 1024x768! So, I can do
presentations with the cute machine now.

(6) Got OpenOffice 2.4 working via IPS. The slide show is actually very
nice.

(7) The SD slot works. I put a 16-GB SD card into the slot, then a "NO
NAME" drive appeared on the desktop. Now I have a base system of 15 G,
and a storage of another 16 G of storage. So, this is actually a very
nice system to carry around.

I did not have enough time to test its battery life with OS 2008.05.
Will do that when I have the opportunity.
