Hello All, I do not know whether it's proper to send email to this alias. But I met a problem and I can't solve it myself.
OpenSolaris2008.05 has GUI network configuration tools in menu "Systam" -> "Administration" -> "Network". After stopping nwam, we can open it. I configured the IP, netmask, gateway and dns, then I click "OK". After 1 second, I run "ifconfig -a" to check the interface status. But I can't find my network interface. I must re-plumb my network interface and then use this tool again to setup. So I want to ask why that happens? Is there any way to avoid plumb ? or give an explanation ? Thanks.
