The most compelling reason to do it would be if the rest of the 
install/media architecture requires it, and in reality, we already do, 
as the boot archive on the OpenSolaris media has copies of all of the 
above in its stubbed /usr to allow us to get to the point of mounting 
the real /usr.  My advice is to just be patient and we'll take care of 
it when the project comes along for integration.
