Hi, my upgrade failed. ?below the steps I have followed.
At what stage do I activate my BE, When I active be, I get:
batman:/root # beadm list
BE Active Active on Mountpoint Space
Name reboot Used
---- ------ --------- ---------- -----
opensolaris yes yes legacy 18.92G
opensolaris-1 no no legacy 2.44G
batman:/root # beadm activate opensolaris-1
beadm: Unable to activate opensolaris-1
If I truss this process, then I see a lot of missing applications and
libraries mainly from Python2.4. Python 2.4 is located on the new be
(/mnt or /tmp depending on where I mounted it).
Thank you
Marius

try:
# beadm activate beName
i'd expect that to fail but may get some more info from the output

I have followed procedures are per:
http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/indiana-discuss/2008-June/006643.html
but when I reboot, and select "Solaris 2008.11 snv_90 X86" I am still
on RC3:
batman:/ # uname -a
SunOS batman 5.11 snv_86 i86pc i386 i86pc
AM I missing some steps? Do I need to enable the new be?
Any ideas?
