Hi - I build a custom kernel module on my host machine FC12 2.6.32.26-175.fc12.x86_64.
Download the src rpm of this kernel and built it as mention here http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/I_need_the_Kernel_Source#head-a8dae925eec15786df9f6f8c918eff16bf67be0d Now from this src I have created a uml kernel & logged into it. Then copied my custom module from host machine into uml. insmod says # insmod myfs.ko myfs: version magic '2.6.32.26-175.fc12.x86_64 SMP mod_unload ' should be '2.6.32.26 mod_unload ' insmod: error inserting 'myfs.ko': -1 Invalid module format Any one tried using UML with Fedora and adding custom modules with it? -- ---- Cheers, Lakshmipathi.G FOSS Programmer. www.giis.co.in
