Quoting Mike Gabriel <mike.gabr...@das-netzwerkteam.de>:Hi all,I have just come across the fact that my PGP public key stored in my Horde profile is pretty old and expired and there does not seem to be a mechanism im the IMP settings' WebUI to update my public key (neither via a re-import, nor via a refresh from a keyserver). How do people update their own PGP public keys in Horde? Any idea?Prefs->Mail->Pgp
My Horde is in German, so I try to translate the German text UI elements to English and hope they match the originals.
I see two boxes: Public PGP Keyring* Importing PGP keys here, tries to associated the uploaded keys (via their key IDs) with entries in the Turba addressbook. This fails for me because my Kolab v2 backend. (I need to invest time into
debugging this, but that's another issue) You public/private PGP Key * your public key - [ view ][ details ][ send key to public key server ] * your private key - [ forget password ][ view ][ details ] * and a button: [ delete current key ] I can't see any clickable link for updating my (own) public PGP key here. The bottom button for deleting my current private key and re-importing the private key after that works well (tested some days ago). But re-importing my private key won't update the public counterpart of the key.
My use case for updating my public PGP key is: * my public PGP key has an expiry set * the expiry is pro-longed every 1-2 years * when attaching my pub PGP key to mails sent via IMP, I'd love to have this attached key as best up-to-date as possibeSo again my question: what is the exact workflow to update my own public private key in Horde?
