(I didn´t find anything to this) This sounds like an issue that was fixed in Turba 4.2.3I´m up to 4.2.3. ;-). I did the pear update a few days ago. But what is the coherence of Turba and mail?
Turba is the data source of the contact information. It doesn't matter what application is asking for the data, it is the Contacts/ API (which Turba implements) that is queried.
If you are already up to date with all components, then I don't know what is going on without a sync log. I can't reproduce.
