I'm afraid I'm confused.
I count 17 mailing lists - does one need to subscribe to all of
them to get a sense of what's going on with the project?

would have such information but with this example I only see
the 10/29/13 announcment that verions 4.1.4 is available and what
the changes are from the last version. Nothing about the read-only
gotcha in the mobile version.
Am I missing something?
The announce list is only for release announcements. If you are
interested in general discussion, the horde@ list is appropriate,
otherwise you can subscribe to the individual application list that
you are interested in keeping up with.
