You are probably using HTML editor by default? The editor is a 3rd-party component, not ours, there isn't much we can do about this.
2. When I click on the Inbox, I would like for the top-most message to be selected automatically, so that "No Messages selected" doesn't appear. Instead, the selected message will appear.
That's a very specific request and nothing that we would accept upstream, you need to hack this into your installation.
3. Is it possible to add a hotkey for clicking Send when composing a message? I'd love it if I could hit CTRL-Enter for the message to be sent, instead of needing to click the Send button.
