Something came up recently with a series of emails for a user with
charset Windows-1253 which didn't display properly. Part of this issue
was that using Solaris's iconv, an alias for CP1253 had not been
defined. However, now the message body is successfully converted to
UTF-8, the subject and from lines are not even though in the source
these do have an charset specified:
Subject: =?windows-1253?B?<encoding here>?=
Is it supposed to?
Are you using caching? Those headers might be cached before you had
defined windows-1253 on your system.
