We have imap (UW-Imap) server on one machine and horde3 on another. Of
UW-Imap is antique and has lots of performance issues. Migrate to
Cyrus. Seriously.
We know uw-imap is ugly, but with imp3 (which means two days ago and for
about 8 years) it worked without any problems. Only after upgrade just
exploded...
Are you running an IMAP proxy on the web-head? That is *strongly*
encouraged and *very* simple to setup. The performance upside is
*huge*.
No imap-proxy. In fact not needed recently. Where is it?
