Found it...
In my IMAP server I was checking ACL's for "user.name" (the mailbox
format used) but there was mailbox called "name" (no user. ) and the
ACL's for that mailbox were list read for anyone...
apparently my mistake... :)
Thanks for the help

I'm using cyrus IMAP.
I've checked the ACL's for the user folder and everything seems ok
I've just noticed that in imp's shred folder options the unwanted
folder has list and read permissions for "anyone" but I can't change
these options...
how do I change these?
thanks

The folder appears in the inbox folder list for all users...
it's a folder from another inbox...
any ideas?
Then, maybe, the owner of this folder hast set the ACLs so that
everybody can read it. What IMAP server are you using? Has it ACL
support?
