A very wise decision, i'd say.

THIS wasn't too wise, in my opinion. PCQ Linux 8.0 has been reported to
have quite a number of bugs, as somehow the team which put together the CD
could not get things in the right places, and the OS reportedly misbehaves
every now and then. You might be very lucky to not have any problems, or
maybe you havent realised that some "features" might actually have been
bugs :)

Well, honestly, this kind of a question requires commercial support from
an experienced person. I would be most willing to help you out with this,
but it would cost you some money. Kindly contact me off the list (i.e.
send the reply to my mail address only).

In order to get help from the mailing list, you will have to do the
following:

1. goto www.google.com and search for whatever you're looking for.

2. Go through most relevant looking results from (1) above, and read
through the sites and see if any of them answer the query you have.

3. Try out those things on your own. Use your own common sense to fill in
the gaps.

4. If you dont get things up and running, ONLY THEN write to the mailing
list. And when you state your problem, also state VERY clearly

        (A) Your problem -- What you wanted to get done
        (B) Your Attempt -- What you did, and what you got as a result
        (C) Your Barrier -- Where exactly did you get stuck.

Only if you follow these guidelines, you'll get sane and helpful replies.
DONOT expect other people to do the hardwork for you and get nothing in
return. All the people on this list are here only to help people who
GENUINELY get stuck with a problem, they're not here to take on other
people's tasks, esp. commercial ones.

Please read the guidelines for mailing lists at
http://www.kandalaya.org/guidelines.html for other etiquettes to follow
when posting onto a mailing list.

regards,
Gami
