IIT seems fine. Though CP would definitely be much better.

Sudhir, could you confirm that place with SCO you mentioned earlier ?

I'm interested. We could start off on quite a few projects actually. Some
that i have in mind are :

1. An ERP/CRM package. A basic project called TUTOS is ready and works
excellent. Its only drawback(?) is that its web-based and is written in
PHP. It has some very nice features for team organisation and project
management. What it requires is an Application GUI (GTK based,
preferably). (I have volunteered to do this, if anyone wants to help,
he/she is most welcome.)

Check it out at http://www.tutos.org

2. A financial accounting package. We could start a new package
development or we could simply pick up GnuCash and improvise upon it.
This can be discussed.

3. LAP ;) -- Thats Linux Access Project. It requires volunteers to work on
presentations, and to work out nitty gritty details on how to access
schools, organise workshops there etc. With a solid backing from Sarai,
I'm sure all it requires is 4-5 volunteers to get things rolling. Any
takers ?

Any other suggestions which sound appealing to a group of people who can
then start working on them ?

regards,
Gami
