We are planning to give free training to Linux Enthusiasts. The training
will be on using basic linux commands, using advanced utilities and tools,
configuring linux apps like apache etc., bash scripting and troubleshooting,
and all this using shell environment ONLY. No desktop based training will be
provided as we feel computer users can learn Desktop and GUI very easily.
And it is totally free, no hidden charges nothing.
Initially we had planned to make it a walk-in training session, but then
considering the small space we have, it would be difficult to organize if
many people walked-in. So we have decided to do it in groups of 6-10 people.
The training shall be conducted for two hours on Sundays only and will
include theory with *** practical on-hand session ***. The trainers will be
our professional programming team who are working on international projects
but will be happy to devote some of their hours for this.
Those who are interested may write back to me with their name, contact
number/emailid and profession (because we want to give preference to people
who do not belong to computer field). The selected people shall be informed
individually by email or phone.
IMPORTANT: This is just a voluntary effort by a group of individuals and
does not bind anyone with anything and has nothing to do with the company
where these sessions would be conducted.
