This is a mail to suggest/request for a gathering out of the schedule. Henk
from, The Waag Society (society for old and new media www.waag.org ) is
visiting Sarai at the moment to work around the adaptation of Open Brick
here. Open Brick is a small, light and completely silent platform which can
be used for a micro-server, as a router, or as a thin client. It contains a
fanless x86 compatible 300Mhz processor, 128 MB SDRAM and wide range of
connectors. Software can be installed and distributed on standard Compact
flash cards. Optional 2.5" hard disk can store up to 60 GB. For more details

The architecture of Open Brick is completely open and it works with GNU/Linux
distributions.
I am working with some hardware asemblers in Nehru Place to work out whether
it can be assembled locally, what are the innovations posssible etc.
Henk is going to leave late saturday night.
I am suggesting a Demo of Open Brick by Henk on Saturday. If there are enough
people interested i will organize for that. It would be really nice if people
from the community could participate and innovate on it interestingly.
please let me know asap. by monday or tuesday so that i can organize for it
accordingly.
