Its seems like every Phd in US assumes the moral responsibility of inventing
1 new radical theory/observation every month, to prove that they deserved
the phd.
Even better is to touch a sensitive topic, get sponsor companies.
Be it linux viruses,
cell fones and brain tumor,
cigarettes and nail biting,
alcohol and hair growth behind the palms,
chewing gum and impotency
etc etc.
