Hi I think I had got this response from Mr. Sudhir long time back, in fact we even exchanged emails on this outside the list. How come this message is bouncing on list again, probably some virus or something.
Anyway.... Raj.. We have to use this proprietary Software because the CA and the Auditors refuse to Audit our records if they are manualy done or done using any other software. And sometimes it is difficult to convince the Board of Directors to change the CA and Auditors on the basis of OS they are using. Kalculate or any free software in this arena should be promoted to this 'clan' first so that they don't push their clients for "proprietary software".
