Hi Malkiat

Surprising.
Could you try writing "modprobe acm" as root and then let me know the
results. ?

Subject: [ilugd]: MODEM PROBLEM IN LINUX 7.3 (USB FRONTECH 56K/V.90)

With regard to the above and as per your suggested solution ie.
cat > /dev/ttyACM0
But to my surprise the interface such ttyACM0, ttyACM1 are not present in
dev directory instead they are present in /dev/input directory and when I
try to execute the very first command on console on I get the error as :
bash : /dev/input/ttyACM0 : permission denied
when I try to execute it in SU Mode it shows the error as :
bash :/dev/input/ttyACM0 : Invalid argument.
So on the very first step I am not able to proceed successfully in this
regard. Please suggest a solution how I can handle this problem.
Best Regards,
Malkiat
