Sorry .. there was a powercut and i could not complete the mail
.
Do these things..
Change to the " vesa " drivers from the one u are using now .
and change the framebuffer size in BOIS to 8 MB if ur BIOS
allows
that .
OR
Download the new binaries (4.2.99.4) from xfree86.org. They
support
ur chipset but it might need a kernel update .
Hope ur problem is solved .
