if you guys have time, drop in at the linux workshop at hamdard university, for a hands-on demo, hopefully.
for total linux newbies, i often recommend getting hold of a decent refernce book, a linux bible or something, so 90% of your questions are answered without having to even log on to the net and browse, google-search, and post queries. the remaining 10% can be handled this way. makes it more convenient. besides, the books don't cost much, and offer quite a wealth of information. :-) LL On Monday 13 January 2003 05:00 pm, you wrote: > i just bought a redhat cd > n i have no idea how to install it > i need 2 know both ways that is....thru windows and thru ms > dos... > there isnt a single exe file....so i donno wat 2 click on.. > only a few are there in a folder called dosutils. > so could someone help me out on how to install it? > will appreciate ur response, > > > Thanks, > Avneesh Chhabra a.k.a.
