i was in touch with dishnet regarding the usb modem support for those
aztech drivers. dishnet ppl clearly said, they don't offer any kind of
linux support.
then i contacted aztech regarding the drivers or will they be available
in future. the answer was negative.

don't think the modem will work with linux. your connection would be a
PPPoA connection, and there's a special howto for that, but only for
speedtouch (or alcatel don't remember) usb modems.

if yu have any success, let me know, as aztech drivers are crap. if yu
enable internet connection sharing on the dsl connection on a win2k
machine, and yu connect with other machines, you can download everything
smoothly, but while uploading yu can't upload more than 3-8KB of data.
