Hi,
I have a query regarding Apache HTPD server. I am running Virutal Sites, the problem I face with apache is that after every 2-3 Hrs of proper functioning, suddenly I find that the CPU utilization shoots to 99% out of which almost 98% is utilized by either 1 or 2 HTTPD instances. And the time that these HTTPD instances are running is in hours. I am attaching the LOG below of TOP command for reference.
Also duing strace on these pids doesn't give any output, that mean they are not actually doing anything but then why they are in running state and consuming CPU time ??? Any Ideas???
