This is my first time participating in a LUG from India. I came to the States about 7 years ago and after getting introduced to Linux I always wondering about Linux presense in India. I finally managed to get in touch with a few friend from back home and realized that Linux did indeed existed in India. And honestly I'm damn proud to know this. I was just curious what distro's are being used in India and what seems to be more prominent. What kinda of Desktop Enviroments are being used and what are some of the primary uses of your Linux boxes. Also what are some of the reasons you decided to switch to Linux? Im sure many of you have heard of Red Flag linux from China, is there anythign similar being developed in India? Thank you for your time and comments.
