LOL. I agree. Any person on a network who runs Linux and knows what can be done with it is a security threat. My cable networkwalla agreed when I showed him what standard software on Linux (ethereal,nmap etc.) is capable of doing. These admins are much more at ease with clueless windoze programmers around.

I'm moving into King's College (London University) student
accomodation at the moment. They give out LAN connections, which is
great! But to my horror, I find this text in their terms and
conditions:
