well hi! i have a red hat linux kernel 2.2.16-22 , now just to add the new feature(bridging)i want to recompile the same kernel having bridging support enabled .... I just want to know how can we enable this option at the time of recompilation of the preexisting kernel.. I had tried the following steps and got the errors 1. got into /usr/src/linux~ 2. given 'make Xconfig'->then selected bridging option then ..saved it and exited . 3. make dep 4. make clear 5. make bzImage ....at the time of execution i got the errors.
