Hi Supreet, I've just sent a server and workstation configured with LTSP to a school LAB. I had included some stuff relevant to the school syllabus. You might want to include these to your CD: 1. LOGO - this is there ofn the GLUE CD 2. RHIDE - Borland-like IDE for gcc (also on GLUE CD - you may want to check if there is a newer release) 3. BASIC interpreter/compilers YaBASIC and ScriptBasic were two that caught my attention. You can look at these and others at: http://www.allbasiccode.com/links/unix_compilers.html In fact we need someone to evaluate /compare available BASIC interpreters for Linux with what is being taught in schools. Anyone made progress with collection of syllabus and exam papers? I also included other stuff related to LTSP and the school's need for a Windows environment etc.. Give me a call (2788562) if you like and we can exchange views on what else could go in. Best of luck Leo . ================================================ To subscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with subscribe in subject header To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in subject header Archives are available at http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd%40wpaa.org =================================================
