Hey, AFAIK, the cbse syllabus won't be the problem. It doesnt have anything dos/windows specific.
But we will face a problem in case of the projects that 12th class students have to make. Those are "checked" by external teachers. Following are the problems we might encounter : 1. Most of the students like to make their projects graphics-based, which is pretty simple and straight forward in TC++, but that may not be the case with linux. 2. Even if we use some simple libraries to make the graphics part simpler, then the problem would be the externals who come to the school to check the projects and take practicals. They wouldnt understand anything and that would be a problem!! Solutions, hmm.. i'll talk the HOD at dps rkp, and see what he thinks can be done. Well, i have been brainwashing him for last 3-4years, how else do you think i replaced all the NT servers there?? !! -Anks On Mon, 3 Jun 2002, M.K.Pai wrote: > Hi guys, > > I can confirm that the computer science syllabus > does *not* appear on the CBSE website.
