I wud suggest that u go thru the firewall howto and the
ipchains/iptables howto (search google for actual links ;) These are the
best resources i have been able to find for using ipchains. They have lots
of sample rules and explainations of why the rule is there, and how it
helps, etc!

    I won't recomend that u use any ready made script/rule w/o understanding
the reason/logic behind those script/rules. U shud understand firewalls and
how they are used properly to be able to implement a set of ipchains rules.
Don't follow any advice that u find on the net w/o fully understanding how
things are done. Most of the howtos don't contain bad advice, but remember
what works for some1 else need not work for u, and can cause a lot of
problems. Also remember that ipchains is only a part of what u might need to
implement on your webserver to ensure security. U will also wan't to have
the server updated regularly and analyze the activity logs to find out if
some1 is trying to break in to your server, etc!!!
