Folks,
For all those who wanted to work on a large distributed
project (or start a new one), here is an opportunity you don't
want to miss. Yes, you can start your very own project at
ILUG-D website and find out if there are others willing to
share and join you in your effort.
I have incorporated this new feature at ILUG-D website -
Projects. This feature is aimed to promote members'
participation, gurus and newbies alike, and encourage everyone
to come up with ideas/projects that would eventually become
ILUG-D's flagship project(s).
This feature is still under development and lacks some of the
important functionality but that should not stop you from
using it. I will continue to work on it but your feedback and
response is going to be the guiding force behind my effort.
Of course, there is SourceForge and other fine sites for
hosting projects but I think you all will agree, there is no
substitute for home cooking :-)
