Hi Folks, One Question Can i decrypt a PGP message using gpg, that was originally encrypted using some other PGP software (ofcourse i have the private key and everything needed) ?? Something like : my contact encryts it on a Windows system using McAfee or some Outlook integrated software and sends it over. Can i download the message to a file and decrypt it using gpg ? If yes, cud someone please shed some light on it ?
When i tried i got this error (its pretty long one) <something something in PGP> 4+mkt7TuNYuE+wojeIwa8sKXiVqudc8561LCkAvVggHOUa0PluHjIOmhF2tdJYRb jAci4r9F3RaMHBYLIUSNTIXJnwELZHYX7wTTu5yIlplvkwHfiAKW/MyS5/9LxWXA n/xqguEYxmW0maCQKzn9mTonJufcJ+rVkGMdRAuAP7hZwyvd3Ru3v/RkWAGea4xf 6VU2NppspTaTWGAeEWq3hr1gLLmOCG99Txax4b/w5JCBnX/jQqvJIIvXXHuewZZ8 r22hjYVEcBWLwp9lO+G7J5N0GXkz8Y//u4X3wgiQWQ== =ixPG gpg: encrypted with ELG-E key, ID 7D0084E2 gpg: encrypted with 2048-bit ELG-E key, ID 3632F493, created 2002-01-08 "Virdi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" gpg: decryption failed: secret key not available -----END PGP MESSAGE----- I had already imported my keys !! ne ideas !!! -Doofus ================================================ To subscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with subscribe in subject header To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in subject header Archives are available at http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd%40wpaa.org =================================================
