Hi all,
i am coping a linux cd ( get it from a magzine and is bootable) using easy cd writer software mounted on a windows system. after coping cd when i use "ls -al " on both cd's it shows a major variation in copied cd in comparion of number of links for any file..
suppose on original cd index.html has 4 link but in copied cd it shows onli 1 link and cd does not becomes bootable..it is so for other files too...
i have taken a dump of cd in linux and checked permission ..it was same as on my copied..
can you tell me how should i copy cd so as to have same permission on copied cd as well as it will
be bootable....?
