Hi sandip,
This is ravi. It is ok that Win ME does not support pure dos
mode...but one option is there...First u create a boot disk for
Win ME...then boot your system with floppy...a prompt screen
appears...in which option for dos mode is there...after entering
the dos mode you type:
c:\loadin\loadlin vmlinuz root=/dev/hda7 ro

c:\loadlin.....is a directory in C
loadlin........is a program
vmlinuz........is the boot file that u have to copy in loadlin
directory.
root=/dev/hda7....is the partition in which linux is installed
ro.......read only

This will work in Win ME.
ok bye
