Can someone point me good resources on implementing Linux based Workflow Systems. The situation is back end Linux and Front end Windows. Sort of got involved into a debate on using MS Exchange for the Workflow - the other side claiming that since the front end is Windows, using backend MS Exchange with MS SQL Server, IIS etc, will provide better integration, particularly considering MAPI Applications. They are not bothered on costs(capital!!).
I would prefer Open Source Solutions, though things like Domino on Linux etc with others can also be sited, with comparitive advantages / disadvantages over Exchange. One I know, is http://phpgroupware.org (.com??). I do not know how much of things like these are suitable for a Large Enterprise case.
