The February issue of Developer 2.0(Indian version of Dr. Dobbs) has an interesting article by Al Stevens(whose books had taught me a lot when I was in skool. Does anybody else here like his books too?) on Microsoft. It is surprisingly an article on M$ bashing, but he has tried to give a techincal perspective to the court rulings - he was against the monopoly charges based on the integration of IE with Windoze - something he is convinced should have happened anyway. But his main gripe started off with VC++6 not being ANSI standards compliant even if M$ representatives were on the board finalising the spec. An interesting read, IMHO.
