Hello people, I Installed ibus-m17n (tamil - inscript, typewriter & phonetic) in one of my friend's laptop running LinuxMint.
He uses a Free Software called OmegaT for translation purposes. It runs on JRE. The application works, but typing in tamil using ibus is not working with any Java based application. He also uses another mind mapping free software called FreeMind which is also an Java application. Here is the actual issue, Ibus daemon is running on background and the icon is visible in the task bar. Activating any one of the above (inscript, typewriter or phonetic) method and typing on gedit, firefox, libreoffice or any gtk based applications works, but nothing is getting typed on OmegaT or Freemind except 'f' and 'g' when the respective keys are pressed. How do I go about resolving this?
