Hi Ajeesh, MySQL 5.1 should be upgraded as there is no bug fixes on MySQL 5.1. Consider moving to MySQL 5.5 or MySQL 5.6. It will be just an binary upgrade in MySQL and the underlying data do not any change. Please let me know if you need any help in mysql upgrade too.
