As far as your idea is concerned, with minor changes it has been launched by Zenith with the name Tiger Cloud and they sold to some customers also. I do agree that your idea is different with the usage of SoC and Solar etc., But the problem with the Indian customers is (you can believe me as I have met more than 1000+ CIO/CFO/CTOs who are not ready to accept a new idea but will play a safe route of selecting already established players) - you can try foreign countries and you will be more successful with other countries than in India. I hope I will be wrong also :) Most of the Indian DCs are using software to create a Private Cloud by using OnApp or similar products so they look at being marketable than encouraging a new concept. One more thing is that this idea has been implemented almost 6 years back by Sun. http://www.datacentermap.com/blog/datacenter-container-55.html In fact they used to ship the processing power just like the way we get Generators for Power. Anyway. all the best for your efforts. -- With Best Regards *Ravi Kumar Tenneti* _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc ILUGC Mailing List Guidelines: http://ilugc.in/mailinglist-guidelines
