Totally agree. What I meant is that if we plan this with 1 month gap
and announce it early enough, we'll have (i hope) a larger turnout. I
understand how these things work and don't expect a perfect event or
the like. It is all about a bunch of like minded people sharing ideas
and thought.

I might have miscommunicated. What I meant is that people who already
have installed 1 distro can pretty easily install another one. I
believe it should be more about getting other people to get started
with GNU/linux.

Though if the decision is to have an install fest, I am not against
it, just thinking out loud.
