Hmmm. You mean mysql client version 5.1 on Wheezy? Seg fault could also be caused by corrupted files and/or bad memory. apt-get purge <mysql client> and reinstall. >> Anything related to >> the segfault in the log files (Deb Wheezy)? > mysqld (server) also writes log files in /var/lib/mysql.
