Aufs does not exactly meet our requirement. That is why we decided to
implement our own filesystem.

 This filesystem is a CERN project which would run on LHCb where fast
diskless booting of various nodes are required so it uses just one Read
Only filesystem and one Read Write filesystem.

I only ported Hepunion to 3.8 kernel as a part of GSOC project. You can
find my commits in the main repository. At CERN they are using SCL5 which
uses 2.6.18 kernel so this driver was originally written on 2.6.18.

This driver is still unstable and incomplete so I want to extend it as an
academic project and seek mentorship for the same.
