+1 for the idea. Obviously, more online presence helps and will help in having meaningful and liberal conversations w/o mailing list etiquettes like worrying about top-posting. ;-) I sometimes see that even when a noob posts a genuine question we are pedantic and first suggest top-posting instead of solution. Agreed, there are guidelines but top-posting is not a heinous crime and we should care about the OP's problem than worrying about such trivial issues. People would slowly learn pick the right way of communicating in mailing lists. Am pure desktop user and have slowly learnt the jargons and forum rules and now see the benefit of guidelines but for a noob it could be discouraging. We should rate content over its form. Anyways, i am digressing. However we need to be careful about spams, trolls etc and needs to be moderated heavily. This will help in organizing better for events, share pictures, videos, etc than just plain text content. We have luxury of better bandwidth these days. :-) Also, G+ is a good tool as i see many technies hanging out there. -- Cheers, Anand Radhakrishnan When there is a drive, there is a path.
