Hi ILUGC!
We (Kumaran and Dr. Easwar) are excited to announce that we have
achieved a stable base in AuShadha development. The current development
stage of AuShadha has largely been the effort of Dr. Easwar himself.
AuShadha is an Open Source Electronic Medical Records (EMR) & Public Health
Management System for Small Clinics. It might be even suited for speciality
medical practice after some customisation. It is being developed with
Python, Django and Dojo.
There are many, great Open Source EMRs that are available, but most of them
lack a good front-end. The purpose of AuShadha is to provide a
state-of-the-art, visually appealing, easy-to-use intuitive front-end
interface that is suited for traditional desktop interfaces. This is the
first step in creating a polished open-source EMR. Look out for more UI
improvements to come in the future.
We strongly believe that any open-source project is only as good as its
community. To help improve AuShadha beyond the current state, we thought it
would be fun to invite anyone who is interested to develop and contribute
to it along with us. We would also like AuShadha to benefit from
user-inputs and feature requests.
